only you can plan for.

Your grandparents together. A friend who has travelled a long way. The quiet minute before you walk in. Your photographer can watch for real moments—but you can help them know whose moments matter most.

Share family sensitivities, accessibility needs and the people you don’t want missed. Keep the group list manageable and let the rest of your story happen.

A few things you might be wondering

Good questions.
Honest answers.

How much time should we allow for couple photographs?

A short 15–20 minute portrait window is a useful starting point. Keep it near the reception if possible and allow extra time for travel, mobility needs and changing weather. Agree the final plan with your photographer and venue.

What if it rains on our Norfolk wedding day?

Choose an indoor portrait spot and a sheltered group-photo location before the day. Keep umbrellas close by, allow a little flexibility and treat any dry spell as a bonus. You do not need to leave your guests for a long outdoor shoot.

Do we have to be comfortable in front of the camera?

No. Tell your photographer what makes you feel awkward, look at complete wedding galleries and ask how they guide couples. A brief walk together and simple prompts may feel easier than holding a pose.
